The Library
The implementation of the artistic and cultural education programme is one of the actions included in our Strategic Plan. The development of this artistic space can facilitate the implementation of sessions around the Arts. Artistic education is part of artistic and cultural education. In order to arouse the intellectual curiosity of students and enrich their personal culture, three objectives are targeted:

  • the construction of a rich and coherent culture,
  • the development of an artistic practice
  • the direct encounter of the students with the works, the artists and the cultural places.

This will involve developing creative expression, educating the eye and promoting cultural enrichment. Artistic practices will be complemented by art history teaching linking the works to various artistic fields and historical periods.

Our two sections must present artistic projects as part of the examinations, this is an opportunity to give value to their projects.

The scientific laboratories
This is a place which makes it possible to approach scientific knowledge in physics, chemistry and biology through practice, to discover methods and techniques used in laboratories, to develop know-how within the framework of a scientific approach. The activities take place in the practical work rooms of the science center of the school in compliance with safety instructions. Practical experiences are privileged in this teaching around different themes, with the aim of exploring various fields (dyes, aromas, water quality, emulsions, gelling agents, glues, paints, acoustics …) Beyond the opportunity to be able to approach the sciences with an experimental approach, this allows:

  • to strengthen skills at the practical level and to better prepare for all the sciences suggested by the Diploma Programme
  • to develop complementary skills in the scientific field.
  • to train the scientific and critical mind
  • to arouse a taste for research
