Authorized to offer the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP)
The Preschool begins in KGI and ends in KGIII
Our Preschool Programme provides children with the opportunity to grow in a multicultural and multilingual environment, helping them recognize, from an early age, the importance of English, French, and Arabic as essential communication tools.
Our pedagogical approach prioritizes:
The PYP themes are collaboratively designed by the Primary Educational Team, with a strong emphasis on Inquiry-Based Learning and the IB Approaches to Teaching and Learning Skills.
Educational outings are an integral part of learning, offering students real-world experiences that connect them to their surroundings. These outings include visit to farms, vegetable gardens, theaters, museums, and cinemas.
Parental Involvement: CPF Metn values parental engagement in the learning process. Parents are encouraged to visit the school to lead classroom activities such as reading stories or facilitating Hands-On projects like cooking. Additionally, they are invited to attend various theatrical and artistic performances held throughout the year, in alignment with festivals and celebrations.
Facilities and class size: The Preschool facilities are continuously renovated and upgraded to support increasing student enrollment while maintaining small class sizes.
The CPF Metn gives great importance to the involvement of parents in the learning process. Parents thus have the opportunity to come to school to lead an activity for their child's classmates (read a story, prepare a cooking recipe, etc.). In addition, they are invited to attend the various theatrical and artistic performances organized at the rhythm of the festivals and celebrations during the year.
The premises of the Preschool are completely renovated. New facilities will be put in place in view of the evolution of learner numbers and in order to keep classes of moderate size (not exceeding 20 learners per class).
The Elementary School begins in Grade 1 and ends in Grade 5
The Elementary Programme focuses on building a strong academic foundation, ensuring students acquire essential knowledge in: English, Arabic and French Languages, Mathematics, Sciences, Social Studies, Physical Education, Music and Arts.
The PYP Themes guide the curriculum and are collaboratively developed by the Primary Educational Team, ensuring that Inquiry-Based Learning and the Approaches to Teaching and Learning skills remain central to classroom instruction.
Learners are encouraged to engage with their local community and are guided embrace and integrate the attributes of the IB learner Profile.
