In 2019, and as CPF Beirut strived to become one of the most prestigious and reputable French schools in Lebanon, PPFL acquired Montana International College in the Metn region in 2019, eagerly fulfilling its vision for expansion.

This accomplishment enabled PPFL to promote the Protestant Educational Values not only within the French educational system, but in the english educational system as well.

Since 2022, CPF Metn was officially affiliated "conventionné" to the AEFE - Agence de l'Enseignement Français à l’Étranger. This affiliation saw the light in the framework of a temporary affiliation and turned into a permanent affiliation due to the growth of the school's pedagogical and educational growth. Mr. Olivier Brochet, General Director of the AEFE, has undertaken to consolidate the links that unite PPFL and the agency by proposing to move from a temporary agreement to a long-term agreement. This announcement has made it possible to meet new challenges which will contribute to giving our school its full place in the local school landscape.

The CPF Metn is a unique model of diversity and innovation since it combines a French section and an English section. It is open to the world, to multilingualism and to modernity.

Since the creation of CPF Metn, the board of trustees PPFL expressed a strong determination on building a solid English section. Our commitment to the International Baccalaureate Organization - IBO 's philosophy, values and requirements enabled us to offer to our students a rich Primary Year Programme - PYP & Diploma Programme - DP in the intention of becoming a full continuum IB World School.

CPF Metn is a candidate school* for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme and pursuing authorization as an IB World School.

*Only schools authorized by the International Baccalaureate can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme or the IB Career-related Certificate (IBCC). Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorization will be granted.
